We've addressed this in the rules for podficcer sign-ups, on the sticky Intro & Rules post:
"-The podfics selected must either be of Blanket Permission works, or of works specifically permissioned for this challenge. (You can see example wording here)"

We've provided a template permission request for podficcers to use, if they'd like a starting point.

Oh, that itty bitty "of" makes all the difference. I didn't notice it af first, and thought the permission statement was about the podficcer giving permission.

No problem!

(I guess we don't say it anywhere explicitly, but it's assumed that any podfic being submitted automatically comes with permission to be remixed.)
