Matches
All matches have now gone out to authors. If you signed up as an author, please check your email and read your match email.
We've done our best to match everyone on as many podfic and fandoms as possible. Please let us know as early as possible if your match doesn't work for you, so that we can make arrangements.
If you have any questions for your podficcer, please ask the mods via email or DM (remixapod or on twitter as remixapod), and we'll relay them to the individual podficcer. If you have general questions (about format, deadlines, etc), we'd prefer you to ask them in a public forum (on the question post, or on twitter) so that other people can see.
While you're writing, we'd like to ask you avoid the major archive warnings (Graphic Depictions of Violence, Major Character Death, Underage and Rape/Non-Con) unless your podfic already includes them. Remember that your fic should be a remix of, or be inspired by the podfic you received. The word minimum is 1,000 words. We'll be in touch with authors next on April 11th, our first check-in.
Treats
We are also doing treats for Remixapod! We've created a spreadsheet of every podfic submitted to remixapod, and we're making it available to everyone, regardless of whether you originally signed up or not. Anyone can create any remix of a podfic they desire. For treats, there are no format requirements, and no word limit. This means you could write a drabble, bake a cake, sing a song, etc. Our only rule is that, for accessibility reasons, all treats include a transcript if they're not in a written format.
The treats spreadsheet is HERE.
We'll be posting the posting instructions for treats alongside our assignment posting in a few weeks, but in the meantime, happy remixing! We can't wait to see what you make!
