multi-fandom podfic remix challenge

Emails have been sent out for the second check-in. By now, as a guideline, remixers should be working on the remixes they have chosen to do. The treats spreadsheet is also out now for those that want to start working on treats (see the treats & posting instructions post for more details).

Remixers should reply to their email by midnight on Saturday 16th May, current Pacific timezone (use this Timebie link to convert that to your local time), to let us know if they are still participating in this challenge. We don't need any details about the remix, just a reply to let us know that they’re still participating. If we don't get a reply by this time, we'll assume that they’ve dropped out, and we'll start looking for a pinch-hitter.

Final check-in

Authors, we have just sent out the email for check-in #3, your third and final check-in before the submission deadline next week, on Saturday 18th May. Please check your inboxes and reply to us before the end of Monday 13th May (12pm PST) to let us know that you're still participating in the challenge, and whether you're on track for submission so we know if we need to look for a pinch-hitter. Please take this opportunity to talk to us about getting an extension if you feel you need one!

Posting instructions

There are two collections for this exchange:

• The gift collection, where you should submit remixes written from your prompt podfic. This is currently anonymous and unrevealed, and works will appear as a Mystery Work in the collection after you submit them. https://archiveofourown.org/collections/remixapod19
• The treat collection, where you should submit other remixes made for other prompts. This is open and not anonymised, so anyone will be able to see what you add to this collection. https://archiveofourown.org/collections/remixapodtreats19

When posting, please also:

• Link back to the work you are remixing as a 'work inspired by'.
• Maintain the same locked-to-archive status as the work you are remixing.

As a reminder of future dates, the gift collection goes live on Wednesday 22nd May, and author reveals are on Wednesday 29th May. The final day to submit treats will be Tuesday 28th May.
